School & Office Hours
Office Hours: 7:30am – 3:00pm Monday-Friday
School Hours are from 7:50 am to 2:20 pm Monday-Friday
What time should the children be at school?
Students may begin to arrive for school day at 7:35 am unil the doors close at 7:50 am. If your student is late, please accompany your child to the main office.
What should I do if my child is sick?
If your child will be out sick, please call the main office absentee line at 215-482-8503 and send an email to your student's teacher to let them know your child will be absent. Please include any information on the type of illness.
What should I do if I need to pick my student up early?
Students can be dismissed prior to 2:00 pm. Please email your student's homeroom teacher and our main office at [email protected] with the appropriate dismissal instructions.
Transportation
School busing is provided to IHM students through the School District of Philadelphia.
Snack & Lunch
Do you have a hot lunch program?
Not at this time. We are looking for a new program for IHM!
Can I send a bagged lunch for my child?
Absolutely. Please note that we do not have refrigerator storage or microwave access for our students.
What time is lunch and recess?
Each time is different for each class and is the same the entire year. Please reach out to your student's homeroom teacher for their specific lunch period.
Do the children eat a morning snack?
Yes. Our students do have a snack every morning. Pretzels are available for purchase each trimester.

Our school calendar is under the "student life" tab. Our tentative school calendar is also attached below.
Uniforms
What should my child wear to school?
Please refer to the handbook for uniform guidelines by grade, season and gender.
The approved uniform vendors are Flynn & O'Hara and Flocco's Conshohocken. The dress code is also attached below and under Parent information.

Volunteering & Fundraising
Parents are invited to volunteer with the school in a number of ways, including: fundraisers, joining Parent Organizations (HSA or CYO) or signing up to be a lunchroom monitor.
I want to Volunteer! Are there any requirements?
Everyone who plans on volunteering with children at the school is required to complete clearances. Please see the Resource tab for the requirements.

The Shop with Scrip program is an easy, no-additional-cost fundraising program designed to generate revenue for our school families through normal, everyday expenses like groceries, clothing, toys, or gifts. Cards for restaurants and gas stations are also available for your dining and travel needs. Every purchase earns money for your family's tuition.
